Come to Chipping and unwind in an idyllic setting, down a quiet private lane, with wonderful fellside views. A small private woodland and pond belongs to this property and is currently the home of 6 beautiful call ducks. In the adjoining field there are two very friendly alpacas, two sheep and two minature donkeys who just love to stand at the gate to meet you. Your barn is part of a l7th century farmstead. The original part of the adjoining owners cottage dates back to 1635 and was one of the few privately owned properties in the area; the rest of the land was part of Lord Derby's estate. Local villagers remember the yard adjoining the barn being a wood yard where local farmers would come for fencing posts. Today, it has all modern facilities with newly refurbished and tastefully decorated rooms. Judd Holmes Barn will instantly make you feel comfortable and at home. Fully equipped for self catering and with a restaurant 40 yards away, plus an abundance of very fine eating establishments within a short distance, you can spend your time as you please.
